Traditionally, hair transplant techniques were developed and used for males only. But now a large segment of hair transplantation is dealing with female hair transplant.

Hair loss in females is always considered to be more problematic than in males as females had few options to cover their baldness. Female hair restoration methods are quite simple for expert surgeons. They just select tiny groups of hair follicles from permanent growth portions and transplant them into affected areas.

If hair follicles are taken from a donor, then the colour, quality and elasticity of the skin also need to be considered by the surgeon.

Lastly, monetary factor is also to be taken into account. It is necessary to check that either the treatment is affordable or not. Some treatments are not complicated but some require complicated techniques or several grafts. In such cases the cost of the treatment rises to about $3000 to $15000.
