Questions to Ask

1.  Determine the extent of hair loss according to Norwood classification.

2.  Decide what do you want to accomplish from your hair transplant  for example, if someone has hair loss in the front as well in the crown region, he has the option to cover the front region with high density and the crown region with lesser density or cover the front region alone with maximum density and not do any hair transplant in the crown region or evenly distribute the hair in both areas to get more coverage but less density.  One should discuss these options with your surgeons during the consult.

3.  Discuss with your surgeon the number of sessions which will be required and the interval in between.  Though hair transplant which can restrict you to a bed rest you may still want to schedule it at a convenient time, for example before a long week- end or a vacation. .
